Treo grants insights into the laboratory for electromagnetic radiation

Treo 2.0 – Now also EMC

After integrating the accredited EMC laboratory of  Gedis, Treo 2.0 is now testing electromagnetic tolerance and environmental simulation – at two locations which are specialized in these specific sectors.
Due to the combination of these sectors, Treo offers test options which are unique in Northern Germany.

What exactly is electromagnetic tolerance and how can it be tested?

EMC refers to the trouble-fee interaction of an electronic component, a device or a system with its electromagnetic environment. EMC tests show the effects of electromagnetic disorders on a machine as well as the impacts on the electromagnetic environment, which are emanated by a device. The basis for our tests are regulations of the legislators as well as specific stipulations posed by the manufacturer.

Our EMC test laboratory has the competency to conduct tests in the area of electromagnetic tolerance (EMC) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. Our EMC services are mainly used by customers from the industrial sector, aviation, ship building and the military.

It is accredited for executing tests according to the following norms:

•    DIN EN 61000-4-2
•    DIN EN 61000-4-3
•    DIN EN 61000-4-4
•    DIN EN 61000-4-5
