Treo - Low- and overpressure testing
Strains due to ambient pressure influences occur in very different situations.
We developed a unique test chamber for larger components and complex test set-ups which has been purpose-built by VIS Vakuum and Industrieservice Meier.
The device simulates i.a. a sudden cabin pressure drop according to RTCA/DO-160. With a special test system we are able to perform rapid decompression tests with high-speed pressure changes in less than 2 seconds.
Static underpressure tests for altitude and overpressure tests are feasible as well. The test chamber has a volume of 1,600 litres and is equipped with connections for water, electricity and air, so that systems and system parts can be tested under realistic conditions under high-speed pressure changes.

In addition to the simulation of the ambient pressure, hydraulic or pneumatic pressure tests, e.g. for hose line and piping systems are also possible.
For this purpose we are equipped with a special test chamber, pneumatic and hydraulic components and extensive measuring equipment.
With our hydraulic power unit we can accomplish static pressure tests as well as dynamic ones whereby we are able to programme the pressure histories to our wishes. In the marine and shipping sector we test, for instance, conforming to the standards of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Germanischer Lloyd or Bureau Veritas.
In the aerospace industry exists a broad range of testing possibilities as well, e.g. Burst Pressure Tests or cyclical pressure tests (endurance) for hydraulic and water supply systems.
