Treo present on the trade fair NORTEC 2012
Treo - Environmental Simulation Lab will be present on the trade fair NORTEC 2012. From the 25th till the 28th of January you can find us in the hall A4 stand no. 404 daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.. We have organized many interesting things for you - it's worth a visit!

Our challenging climatic testing now also in XL-format
We now are able to offer our clients a broad spectrum of challenging climate tests with our new high performance test chamber. Our new Vötsch Klima Stress Screening System VCS³ 7130-10 features a testing room with a volume of in average 1.300 litres and covers a temperature rate of -75°C to 180°C at a rate of temperature change of 10K/min.
Combined with the regulation of the relative humidity between 10 and 98% we are also capable of accomplishing challenging conformance testing for large components or batches of smaller test-objects.
To be able to provide flexible solutions to our clients the system also has divers supplementary equipment like a compressed air dryer, digital access and outlet the gate drive of test-objects as well as divers conducts for cables and media ducts. Complex test setups can be operated and according to this controlled electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic.
New test-technology in hydraulic pressure tests
We have launched a new test chamber in our laboratory specialized for hydraulic pressure tests with which it’s for example possible to do over-pressure-tests with hose- and pipe-systems.
It’s possible for us to do static as well as dynamic pressure tests with our hydraulic aggregate whereat the pressure curve can be programmed freely. In shipbuilding we test according to the specifications of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Germanischen Lloyds or of the Bureau Veritas.
In aviation there are also variegated ways of testing products like for example burst pressure tests or cyclic pressure tests (endurance) for hydraulic- and water-line-systems.
Treo – flexible accreditation granted by DAkkS
The German Accreditation Body certifies that our test procedures comply with highest quality demands. We have worked towards this goal, now it is achieved. Treo – Labor für Umweltsimulation GmbH now is a flexibly accredited test laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
This has been attested with the accreditation certificate (link for download) granted by the highest authority, the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS). For us this is a great gratification and a confirmation of our work. For you it is official proof that you can rely on our work. This gives you additional security.

New test chambers for IP protection class testing
We have two new test chambers for the IP protection class determination at our disposal. With our water and dust test chamber we are able to provide the full range of IP protection class tests in a very high quality standard. Both chambers are conform to norm and correspond to state-of-the-art technology. The automatic documentation of the test parameters guarantees the reproducibility and thus guarantees the high quality of the tests. »more
U.S. Coast Guard accepted sub-laboratory
Treo is an U.S. Coast Guard accepted sub-laboratory for environmental tests of pollution prevention equipement in accordance with the Title 46 U.S. Code
of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 162.050-15. This authorisation is valid in cooperation with our partner GBA Gesellschaft für Bioanalytik Hamburg mbH
New test standard for monitor tests
More and more frequently flat screens and displays of different sizes shall be utilized in different aircraft and vehicles. They must reliably function even under severe strain and in case of damage they may not pose a source of danger. Apart from the regular environmental simulation tests, the monitors are additionally tested with special test procedures.
We have improved our test devices for these tests and are now able to make the quality inspections "Abuse-Load-Test" and "Ball-Impact-Test" in accordance with UL 1418 (Underwriters Laboratory) item 4.2.1.1 on the only test stand in original fitting position. » more
New support for the laboratory team
Alexander Barz supports our laboratory team since 01 June 2010. The engineer of automotive engineering will contribute his experience as development and test engineer in the automotive industry to our company. In addition he will be at your disposal as the competent contact person in the field of environmental simulation.
Special equipment for aircraft industries
With our three-phase 10kVA generator we could prove your electrical prototypes in an realistic environment. So we are able to test your prototypes on the test bed in full load mode with the aircraft voltage of 115 V / 400 Hz. The high performance of our generator supports the tests of prototypes with a high demand of electrical energy like kitchen equipment and heaters.
Treo at ILA 2010: Successful Air Show
For the first time Treo participated with its own booth at ILA 2010 Berlin Air Show. Jointly with more than 250 exhibitors we presented our portfolio in the International Suppliers Center ISC during the three trade visitors days (8 June to 10 June).
