Treo - News
Here you will find the latest news from and about Treo, such as information about upcoming events, trade fairs and other selected topics concerning our industry:
UDT Bremen – finished diving
From May 30th until June 1st 2017 you were able to visit us at the underwater defence and security community's most relevant exhibition and conference in Bremen, the UDT.
This year we got to explore the underwater defence world and its latest news with our booth partner Condok. At our booth, we welcomed many visitors and were very happy to network as well as inform them about our capacities in the area of mechanic shock testing as well as climate testing and EMC testing etc. .
With our new EMC video, we were able to explain and convey impressions about our work – short and sweet.
Check it out right here!
Boarding completed - AIX 2017
Back at our laboratory - we draw a positive balance!
At our Treo booth we welcomed many visitors and customers to network. Especially due to interesting conversations with old and new contacts, the whole event became a very successful one. A relaxed but also very professional atmosphere was the perfect condition to inform interested visitors about our new optimizations in the field of rapid decompression tests.
Our next stop is the UDT (Undersea Defence Technology exhibition/conference) in May 2017.
Further informations will follow soon.
Rapid decompression tests with an improved test system
An important qualification test for components and products of the aviation industry is the simulation of rapid decompression in the aircraft cabin.
At our environmental simulation laboratory in Hamburg we are now able to perform altitude and decompression tests with high-speed pressure changes.
Instead of the usual speed which is 10-15 seconds to reach the altitude pressure, our new test chamber needs less than 2 seconds!
Even more demanding requirements like decompression curves according to Boeing standards can be fulfilled without any problems. All our tests in this area are accredited and performed according to customer-specific demands.

AIX 2017 - Your boarding ticket is now available
„Ladies and gentlemen. Now we will start with our today´s boarding, flight AIX-2017, off tot he Treo booth 6C80/L – hall B6. We are asking the first and business class passengers to show their tickets and enter the aircraft...“
Be a passenger of this special flight!
This is your personal invitation to visit us at the Aircraft Interiors Expo, the biggest global event oft he aircraft industry, in Hamburg from April 4th-6th.
Inform yourself about current Treo news, for example that we are now able to perform rapid decompression tests according to requirements of Boing. In particular, this means that we are able to evacuate the test room up to altitude pressure within a few split seconds.
To find out more about this option and other special as well as unique test procedures for the aircraft industry you are welcome to talk to our managing director Dr. Hanno Frömming in person at our booth 6C80/L, hall B6.
April 2017, 4th-6th | daily 9 am- 5pm | booth 6C80/L, hall B6 | Hamburg Fair

Role reversal at our EMC laboratory
Our Treo laboratory in Kiel is characterized by the successful cooperation between Peter Sell and Carsten Möller.
As a team they carry out electromagnetic tolerance tests at a high level, according to your demands.
It is two generations, working on similar lines and always willing to move in the same direction by using their knowledge and personal experiences in this area.
After working as a team for three years, Peter Sell passes on the reins to Carsten Möller and follows in Peter´s footsteps.
Now Carsten Möller has the chance to prove his skills as the head of our EMC test laboratory.
We are very happy that Peter Sell continues to be our EMC expert in Kiel and that our well-established team is still available for our customers and our laboratories.

Bye Bye CO2
In our environmental simulation laboratory in Hamburg we are now raising the green flag: We say goodbye to harmful emissions and welcome our new energy concept.
Our demanding environmental simulation tests require powerful and efficient test systems which consume a high amount of energy due to physical reasons. Therefore, sustainable supply of energy is of major importance to us.
In corporation with hit-Technopark, the officially certified environmental partner of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, we reduce and compensate the CO2 emissions now.
As the first building in the hit-Technopark, that owns a combined heat and power plant (CHP), we are now able to produce our own electricity besides heating and cooling. However, it is not possible to completely avoid CO2 emissions while heating up combinded heat and power plants (CHP). But - to neutralize the low amounts of CO2 emissions we continuously plant new trees in the Brazilian rainforest.
