Treo is now a member of Süderelbe AG

Treo – Labor für Umweltsimulation GmbH is now a member of Süderelbe AG, the network for companies, investors and municipalities in the south of Hamburg. The company has taken this step both to pursue its own interests and create synergies, as well as to further strengthen the economy and network in the region.

The south of Hamburg is a growing region and increasing numbers of companies are choosing to settle here. Süderelbe AG is committed to championing the South Elbe region as a business location; the organisation is the central point of contact for enterprises, investors and municipalities in the region. More than 100 companies have already joined the network by becoming shareholders. The latest member to sign up for the network and acquire a share is Treo - Labor für Umweltsituation GmbH.

“We are excited about working with this diverse network. This move is not only about strengthening our interests, but also those of the region,” said Managing Director Thomas Kühl at the presentation of the share, which was held at the Treo premises in Tempowerk. It will be fascinating to see what the exchange of ideas and potential synergy effects with the other shareholders will be. One project that is particularly close to Managing Director Hanno Frömming’s heart in the shareholder network is “Company Mobility Management”. In a living lab, Süderelbe AG is examining what direction environmentally friendly mobility could take for companies and employees. Frömming: “This issue plays a central role at the Tempowerk site. I applaud the initiative of Süderelbe AG in addressing this topic in a new living lab.”
