Static acceleration

Static accelerations occur for example on planes during takeoff and landing.

Especially in the event of an emergency landing, all devices and components must remain in their installation location, and safety-relevant parts must function as planned.

Our centrifuge simulates static acceleration of different strengths and durations in usually six spatial directions. Some standards allow for alternative test methods, which Treo can also carry out.

The standards and procedures in this area include the following:

  • RTCA DO-160 Operational shocks and crash safety
  • MIL-STD-810 Acceleration
  • ISO 2669 Environmental tests for aircraft equipment – Steady-state acceleration
