Treo ist bei der Aircraft Interiors Expo 2024

It’s one of the main dates in aviation industry diary: the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg. From 28 – 30 May, the world’s leading players will be meeting at the trade fair for aircraft cabin interiors and in-flight entertainment systems to present new trends and cabin concepts. Treo will also be presenting its testing services.

AIX 2024 – Treo is ready for take-off

Hamburg calling – and it’s a call the global aircraft industry is more than happy to follow, including testing company Treo. As in previous years, we are excited to be attending the key showcase for cabin interiors. “AIX has a firm place in our diary. Hamburg is a key centre for the aviation industry, and we have close links with manufacturers and suppliers. The trade fair is not only a great opportunity to catch up with business partners and contacts, but also provides an in-depth picture of the current state of aircraft construction and its future,” says Treo’s managing director Hanno Frömming. “The trade fair is also a great place to showcase the services we offer in our test laboratory.”

Most components and devices in aircraft are exposed to heavy loads due to weather conditions, oscillations, vibrations or sudden pressure differences in the cabin. As an accredited testing service provider in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, we test the ability of components and devices to withstand these stresses. We run vibration tests on components using a shaker, and we test cabin electronics, control devices and entertainment systems for electromagnetic compatibility. We accompany our customers through the entire airworthiness qualification process, from Test Procedures (TP) to Qualification Tests (QT) and the final Qualification Test Report (QTR).

The Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) has been held at the Hamburg Exhibition Centre for 22 years. Around 400 companies have announced that they will be attending what is the largest trade exhibition for the aviation industry, with 40 manufacturers and suppliers making their debut at the event. AIX is the main event of the Passengers Experience Week which includes the Passenger Experience Conference, the World Travel & Catering Expo (a trade fair for in-flight catering) and the Passenger Technology Solutions (a trade fair for IT services in aviation). The spectrum of products on show ranges from seat rails to fully equipped first class cabins. A highlight of the event is the presentation of the Crystal Cabin Awards, an industry award established by Hamburg Aviation (Aviation Cluster Hamburg Metropolitan Region), which honours the ground-breaking innovations of the year in eight categories.
