10 years of dedicated networking: Treo honoured by the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany

We are celebrating a special anniversary!

At the 2026 general meeting, we were honoured for our ten years’ membership of the Maritime Cluster of Northern Germany (MCN). This honour recognises Treo’s long-standing commitment to one of the most important networks in the maritime industry in Northern Germany.

Even before the MCN was officially founded in 2016, Treo was an active member of the Schleswig-Holstein Maritime Cluster and was therefore closely involved in the development and networking of the sector from the very beginning. Over the years, the company has established itself as a reliable partner within the cluster.

For many years, membership of the MCN has provided Treo with a valuable platform for professional exchange, the initiation of joint projects and the further development of innovative solutions in the field of ship model approval testing. A strong network plays a central role, particularly in a dynamic environment characterised by technological and regulatory changes.

Dr. Hanno Frömming, Managing Director of Treo – Labor für Umweltsimulation GmbH, emphasises the importance of this collaboration:

It thrives on active give-and-take, on sharing knowledge as well as jointly developing new ideas. The personal relationships that have grown over time are also particularly valuable. We look back on the past ten years with pride and, at the same time, look to the future with great motivation. Treo will continue to play an active role in the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany and help shape the development of innovative, sustainable solutions for the maritime sector.
