UPDATE 13.12.2023 – Treo and Tempowerk’s joint cookie baking session was great fun! Over 30 recipes were sent in for our Treo Christmas Cookie Campaign, and some talented bakers even dropped off a batch of their creations.
The Treo Santa and the Tempowerk Elf picked the tastiest-sounding recipes, fired up the oven, assembled a bunch of helpers and got busy baking. With so many great recipes it really wasn’t easy to pick a winner. Ultimately, after a rigorous and very thorough tasting session, the “Bethmännchen” by Antonia Marmon (Harburg Marketing) – a speciality from Hesse with a marzipan dough made of ground almonds, icing sugar and rose sugar – topped the list.
The lucky winner decided that the generous donations and the proceeds from the sale of the Christmas cookies were to go to the non-profit organisation KAMI E.V., which promotes intercultural exchange in Harburg and supports children, young people and families. Treo’s Managing Director Hanno Frömming was overjoyed: “It was a fabulous campaign and so much fun.” Thank you to everyone who took part and supported this good cause.

Mince pies, cinnamon shortbread, chocolate chip cookies – this year, Treo’s Santa and his elf from Tempowerk wanted to make their own Christmas cookies. We happened to see what the two were up to – and were not impressed. It’s obviously not as easy as it seems. And that’s what gave the pair a good idea: why not just ask all colleagues, friends and business partners to lend a hand?

A generous donation for every recipe we receive
The recipes can range from traditional family favourites to creative new interpretations. We’ll be making all the recipes we receive. Then we’ll be sampling and rating all the results. The tastiest recipe wins! From 12 December, the biscuits will be on sale in the Tempowerk restaurant directly opposite our laboratory in Hamburg.
The Christmas Challenge is a real win-win situation: not only do we benefit from sugary cookies, for each recipe we receive, Treo and Tempowerk will make a generous donation to a good cause and all proceeds from the sale of the cookies will also go into the kitty. The winner of the cookie challenge gets to choose which charity is to receive the donations.
Everyone who takes part will receive a digital recipe book
