AFCEA trade show: Treo showcases its expertise in the defence sector.

The AFCEA trade fair takes place in Bonn for the 36th time. It is the most important event for the defence industry in Germany. After our debut last year, Treo is back with a stand at this year’s show.

Last year, Treo celebrated its debut as an exhibitor at the AFCEA exhibition in Bonn. This year, the renowned testing laboratory will again be exhibiting at the most important trade show for the defence and public security industries. “We have built up a great deal of expertise in the defence industry over many years and look forward to demonstrating to trade visitors and other guests our skills in the field of testing military equipment and components again this year”, says Treo’s managing director, Hanno Frömming.

Treo showcases its expertise in the defence sector

Die Testing military equipment and components is one of the most sensitive tasks undertaken by testing laboratories. These test procedures are subject to extremely strict secrecy regulations, and, at the same time, the requirements of the defence industry are extremely high. We have been offering our services in the defence sector very successfully for many years. With our state-of-the-art equipment, highly skilled testing engineers and extensive experience with MIL, VG and AECTP standards, we can guarantee our customers that the carefully conducted, standard-compliant tests of their electronic and IT components meet all requirements.

The sophisticated devices used in defence applications (for example, the control technology in aircraft, on-board electronics on ships or helicopter seats) can be exposed to extreme loads. To test how they react to these stresses, we can recreate a wide variety of impacts and loads in the laboratory, including vibrations and shocks in the shaker or shock table or extreme temperatures in the climate chamber. We test corrosion resistance using salt spray methods and we test devices such as telecommunications systems or radar equipment for their electromagnetic compatibility. With our wide range of tests in the field of environmental simulation, material testing, electrical safety or electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and with our specially equipped laboratories, as one of the few testing laboratories in Germany we can help you to meet the high demands of your clients.

The AFCEA will take place on 10 and 11 May 2023 at the World Conference Center in Bonn. Managing Director Hanno Frömming and Head of Sales Lars Meyer are expecting visitors at the Treo stand number F20.
