New accreditation certificates for Treo

After successful surveillance and extension audits in 2022, the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) has issued new certificates to our testing laboratories in Hamburg and Neumünster in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17025:2018.

The accreditation certificates have been restructured:

  • There is now a higher-level certificate with the registration number D-PL-11203-01-00.
  • Below that, there is the certificate D-PL-11203-01-01, which applies to our testing areas of environmental simulation, EMC, electrical safety and materials testing at both locations.

Our scope of accreditation has been extended in all areas, so that Treo can now also carry out accredited tests in accordance with EN 62368-1 (equipment for audio/video, information and communication technology) in the area of electrical safety, for example.

We are particularly proud of our new certificate D-PL-11203-01-02, which is valid for EMC tests according to FCC (Federal Communication Commission). This means that we can also test devices that are to be offered on the American market.
